After joining a small publishing house in Upstate New York, Rebecca was given the rare opportunity to start a magazine focused on design and hotels. There, she was tasked with building its voice and audience from scratch before it was ultimately sold shortly after five years. Driven by a love for the business of design, Rebecca enjoys giving language to the creative process.
The daughter of an artist and an architect, Defne is grounded in the arts and architectural history, and trained in marketing strategy. Originally from Istanbul, she spent the early days of her career in large advertising agencies, for companies like Intel and HBO, before shifting her focus to comprehensive media strategy and PR. With DADA Goldberg, she has merged her passions: design and story-telling.
