Winter 2024 Internships

Throughout our three-month program, interns will work across both the Product and Project teams, learning valuable skills and gaining hands-on experience assisting with PR tasks. This is a part-time position. Submit your social media, CV and website if applicable.

POSITION PURPOSE

Interns are responsible for assisting the account teams with daily tasks including media list management and client clips as well as short and long-term assignments throughout the duration of the program. Although the position is remote, interns are expected to be reachable during working hours via Slack and email and may be asked to participate in event staffing if available and based in NYC.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate (all majors are considered, PR majors are a plus!)
  • Strong interest in interior design, art, architecture, hospitality and real estate industries
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing administrative support for our client portfolio, crafting weekly agendas and meeting recaps, saving and organizing client assets, and assisting in creation of monthly reports.
Supporting our clients in community management practices, including but not limited to building lists of people to engage with or drafting proposed responses
Contributing research on content or campaign ideas.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate (all majors are considered, journalism or design majors are a plus!)

Senior Account Executive

Design Products

Position Summary: Reporting to an Account Manager, the Senior Account Executive for the Design Products team supports our media relations efforts on behalf of our international clients, many of which showcase at fairs including Salone del Mobile in Milan at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, among others. Responsibilities include client service and consultancy by communicating clearly, managing expectations and delivering results for 5-7 accounts. The SAE is an active participant in client and team meetings; and, supports high-profile events.

Essential Job Functions (duties include but are not limited to the following):

  • Gain the confidence of clients by thinking strategically about their challenges and demonstrating strong project management skills in the execution of account work;
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to the press and other target constituencies based on the media goals determined;
  • Draft strategic pitches following the outreach calendar and reach out to the media to secure coverage;
  • Continuously expand the pitching lists through comp research, research of new writers, influencers and publications internationally;
  • Acquire fluency in design media – outlets, editors, freelance and staff writers; key influencers; Stay informed by following our key group on social media;
  • Utilize email correspondence, phone calls and personal meetings to establish strong relationships to the media;
  • Create substantive and accurate materials to be distributed to the media;
  • Respond in a timely and cordial manner to inbound media requests for materials and interviews;
  • Build relationships with writers, editors, influencers and producers who might cover our clients;
  • Maintain schedules for press and client meetings;
  • Prepare agendas for client meetings with the goal to reflect forward momentum and exciting updates; prepare re-cap notes after the call with a list of to-dos;
  • Update and maintain team tasks on Monday.com assigning responsibility and deadline to each new task;
  • Anticipate need for restrategizing or change of direction based on feedback or lack of it; collaborate with the Manager to pivot on angles and targets;
  • Create weekly, monthly (if required), and yearly activity and media reports for clients;
  • Keep the “best of” case study files updated for own accounts as exemplary placements are achieved;
  • Help amplify media and social coverage on Instagram and Linkedin through DADA channels, the clients’ and the media involved
  • Update database and mailing lists of media, industry, influencer and client contacts;
  • Organize and maintain documents, images, captions, and press materials on Dropbox;
  • Read and track daily coverage of clients and related news stories online, on social media and in print;
  • Report press coverage links and clips to clients daily/weekly;
  • Execute frequent mailings of press releases and other collateral material to the media and influencers;
  • Plan and execute media events on behalf of clients (including managing guest lists, RSVPs, onsite event management and coordinating vendors and media and other VIP introductions);
  • Train and supervise Account Coordinators with clear direction.

The Account Executive will be expected to travel to client events occasionally; and, on occasion, service client projects outside of regular working hours. Account Coordinator

Position Summary: Reporting to an Account Executive, the Account Coordinator for the Fashion & Tastemakers team supports our media relations efforts on behalf of our international clients. Clients will range from well-known design tastemakers to brands that exhibit during NYFW. Entry level responsibilities include coordination for 5-7 accounts, in support of the account team; media pitching; active participation in client and team meetings; and, working at client events.

Essential Job Functions (duties include but are not limited to the following):

  • Support the account team by implementing outreach strategies to the press and influencers;
  • Maintain schedules for press and client meetings; 
  • Prepare agendas and re-caps of client meetings;

Digital Account Coordinator

DADA Digital, Dada Goldberg’s digital department, is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Account Coordinator for clients in luxury arts and design, hospitality, and real estate development. Key responsibilities include:

Client Managemen

  • Support the Content Strategist and Senior Account Director on assigned clients
    Attend all client calls/meetings
    Coordinate day-to-day content calendar changes with the Content Strategist and the client
    Draft all meeting agendas and proactively share with client
    Draft all meeting recaps and share with client following call
    Keep record of project and content action items and timeline updates for delivery 
    Save down any important client assets from email and/or Slack to Dropbox
    Draft client monthly reports with all agreed-upon KPIs and top-performing posts

Community Management

  • Manage database of all client social media logins and passwords
    Manage all Meta onboarding processes, including onboarding clients to Later.com/connecting to their Meta account
    Respond to comments and DMs for assigned clients
    Proactively like and comment on approved accounts in clients' networks

Requirements

  • Must be New York or LA-based
    At least 2 years of experience in content creation or account management at an agency
    A solid background in advertising, design or marketing
    A robust knowledge of social media platforms at large, but particularly Instagram & TikTok
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    An impeccable attention to detail
    Willingness to monitor relevant trends and develop content ideas

Bonus
