Account Director, Real Estate & Hospitality

The Account Director is a member of the agency’s senior management team. In that capacity, The AD is expected to support business development efforts by meeting with prospective clients, developing creative and strategic proposals, forecasting account work and ensuring contract renewals.

ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Reporting to the Principals, the Account Director supports our media relations efforts on behalf of our international clients. Responsibilities include contributing to account strategy as well as overseeing the management of day-to-day client communications for 8 accounts. The Account Director builds strong client relationships beyond the life of a single project by communicating clearly, managing expectations and delivering results. The AD heads client meetings led by managers; leads group meetings and initiatives and, manages high-profile media relations and events. They supervise a team comprised of account managers, account executives and coordinators.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build effective and efficient teams by setting clear goals, troubleshooting any challenges that arise, communicating regularly with direct reports, and managing teams to profitability;
  • Gain the confidence of clients by thinking strategically about their challenges and demonstrating strong project management skills in the execution of account work;
  • Use time-tracking reports to provide real-time information about account profitability; 
  • Adjust scope of work and/or project teams to ensure profitability; 
  • Help managers develop and implement innovative outreach strategies to the press and other target constituencies; 
  • Maintain excitement and momentum about the account by introducing new initiatives and strategies quarterly;
  • Initiate and facilitate on-brand and high-clout influencer programs;
  • Initiate and facilitate press-worthy brand collaborations; 
  • Help amplify client and DADA Goldberg's work on social media;

  • Update case study decks for each vertical to make sure best and latest work is represented; 
  • Read and track daily coverage of clients and related news stories online and in print; 
  • Help expand the teams’ media universes by sharing comp articles, industry news and insights;
  • Plan and execute media events on behalf of clients (including managing guest lists, RSVPs, onsite event management and coordinating photographers and media introductions); 
  • Assess client expectations and satisfaction to ensure contract renewals;
    Identify opportunities to upsell services to clients who may need additional support; 
  • Identify prospective clients and develop creative and strategic new business proposals; 
  • Participate in strategic planning and drive organizational development initiatives forward; 
  • Train and supervise account teams to think and act strategically so that clients are satisfied and projects are managed to profitability; 
  • Provide meaningful and constructive feedback to direct reports as part of the annual performance review process; 
  • Onboard new managers with a thorough orientation plan explaining goals and status for all clients, accounts and team members, taking them through the ways of doing business at DADA including the job description and the training doc; 
  • Flag management issues as they arise; and, address them in a timely and constructive manner; 
  • Ensure that direct reports understand their career path—including strengths that contribute to the firm and growth areas that will help them to advance

Working Conditions: Work is performed from home with in-person clients, editors, or team meetings and events happening throughout the year. Candidates must live in the NYC or LA metro areas. Senior Account Executive

DADA Digital, Dada Goldberg’s digital department, is seeking a detail-oriented senior account executive for clients in luxury arts and design, hospitality, and development. Key responsibilities include:

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Proactive management of multiple client social media accounts, ensuring content meets DADA standards and is efficiently published using digital tools.
Full ownership of monthly content calendars from concept to execution, sourcing and organizing imagery, prepping it with appropriate tags and/or copy, and handling daily publication.
Managing high-level community management strategy on behalf of clients, advising on engagement best practices, public-facing comment responses, keyword identification for comment filters, and any other responses from the community
Overseeing and project managing DADA freelancers who are shooting and/or editing content, or executing community management for our clients.
Initiating and managing conversations with both clients and external collaborators on any conversations about content, making decisions proactively to move content calendars forward.
Providing administrative support for our client portfolio, crafting weekly agendas and meeting recaps, saving and organizing client assets, and keeping track of weekly tasks
Producing monthly client reports, collecting key takeaways from the month and leveraging those insights to inform the team’s creative decisions moving forward.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be New York or LA-based
  • At least 2 years of experience in content creation or account management at an agency
  • A solid background in advertising, design or marketing
  • A robust knowledge of social media platforms at large, but particularly Instagram & TikTok

Winter 2024 Internships

Throughout our three-month program, interns will work across both the Product and Project teams, learning valuable skills and gaining hands-on experience assisting with PR tasks. This is a part-time position. Submit your social media, CV and website if applicable.

POSITION PURPOSE

Interns are responsible for assisting the account teams with daily tasks including media list management and client clips as well as short and long-term assignments throughout the duration of the program. Although the position is remote, interns are expected to be reachable during working hours via Slack and email and may be asked to participate in event staffing if available and based in NYC.

Position Summary: Reporting to an Account Executive, the Account Coordinator supports our media relations efforts on behalf of our international clients. Entry level responsibilities include account coordination for 5-7 accounts, in support of the account team; media pitching; active participation in client and team meetings; and, working at client events.

● Support the account team by implementing outreach strategies to the press and influencers;
● Maintain schedules for press and client meetings;
● Prepare agendas and re-caps of client meetings;

● Scan HARO reports daily and bring relevant client opportunities to the team;
